 “Global Leadership for Tomorrow” Program

     3 English Sessions for 2016 Fall Semester

The Career Center organizes and offers "Global Leadership for Tomorrow”, a three-session program conducted in English to help students develop their leadership and expand their global view. Globalized leaders from multinational companies have been invited to share their valuable experiences and insights in management and leadership.

The program aims to strengthen students’competencies for personal branding, international leadership as well as cross-cultural communication. The sessions will be conducted in English, encouraging students to participate and learn from one another while honoring their language skills.

Three Sessions will be arranged for the 2016 fall semester. Activity will take place in the evening time (18:40~21:10).

 

1st Session: October 20 (Thursday)

Topic: The Fundamental Four Leadership Competencies for New Leaders

Speaker: Mr. George Hallenbeck, Group Director of Global Product Development, Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) 美國創新領導力中心

 

2^nd Session: November 17 (Thursday)

Topic: How to Build your Personal Brand?

Speaker: Ms. Clare Forrester, Group Learning & Training Director, Asia

AS Watsons Group 香港屈臣氏集團

 

3rd Session: December 1 (Thursday)

Topic: Developing a Global Mindset

Speaker: Mr. Peter Hatti, Site Leader of HsinChu, Pfizer (Taiwan) 輝瑞大藥廠

 

All local and international NTU students are eligible to attend (see attached selection criteria). The mixture of participants from different backgrounds will enhance their learning and networking experience.

 

Application & Selection:

  All NTU students are eligible to apply for the program, recruiting 30 places but no more than 40 places.

  English requirements: CEF-B2 Vantage GEPT 中高級、TOEIC 750+、IELTS 5.5+, or  TOEFL 527+, etc.

  Students who are interested may file the attached Application Form to Career Center: career@ntu.edu.tw by this September 26. English interview will be conducted by Career Center.
