=============================================================================================================
My name is Chin, and I am one of the team members of SMCC. Our team is highly diverse, both in cultural backgrounds and expertise. Four of our members come from the GMBA program, which has given us extensive experience in collaborating with people who bring different perspectives. I believe this adaptability was crucial in a competition like this, where we had only 20 minutes to present in front of the judges. We needed to prioritize our recommendations while ensuring that our overall narrative was logical and compelling.

Each member of SMCC brought unique strengths to the team. We had someone skilled in storytelling, another focused on details, a creative thinker who pushed the boundaries, and a strong communicator who excelled in the Q&A session. It may sound like a cliché, but we truly maximized our individual strengths, making 1+1+1+1 greater than 4. As a result, we were honored to be named the champions of the NTU Case Competition, and we are incredibly grateful for this achievement.

Beyond winning, the experience was highly enriching. On presentation day, we had the opportunity to listen to other teams’ presentations, which were  incredibly insightful. This allowed us to recognize blind spots we had overlooked during our preparation. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to participate in this competition and highly recommend it to other students. It is an excellent platform for personal growth, networking, and building strong bonds with teammates.
