The National Taiwan University Business and Accounting Foundation was established in 1995, with donations primarily from some enthusiastic alumni of Department of Accounting, NTU and its predecessor. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation includes CPAs, professors, and CEOs. Ms Grace Chou, partner of Horwath & CPAs Firm, is the current chairperson of the Board. The Foundation was formed to promote Business and Accounting research and education at the National Taiwan University.
Since its inception, The Foundation has held a series of workshops/conferences relating to tax, finance, accountant attestation, accounting education innovation, and financial accounting. In each session, leading research scholars, specialists, regulators and government authorities are usually invited to contribute their expertise and share with the audience their experiences.
