Department of Finance, NTU is seeking full-time assistant professors, effective August 1, 2016, or as soon thereafter as possible. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in finance, or a related discipline at the time of appointment. Faculty members are expected to show strong research performance, to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to contribute their service to the university. All full-time assistant professors are required to teach a minimum of two courses in English for six consecutive academic years. Newly hired associate and full professors are required to teach at least one course in English per academic year for six consecutive years.

National Taiwan University is the most prestigious university in Taiwan. College of Management is an AACSB-accredited institution. The finance department is building a strong research group. The department has a comprehensive data bank and provides excellent support for faculty research. It currently has 24 full-time faculty members, publishing in top finance and economics journals, as well as top-tier journals in real estate and in insurance. The Department has an active research seminar series, with papers presented by local and global scholars. It offers undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programs. The main campus is located in the center of Taipei city. Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in Taiwan.
