Abstract:With popularity of social media and sharing economy platform, social network or crowd driven business models become a new paradigm of digital economy. In this talk, we will first discuss the architecture of social commerce from the perspectives of social computing and mechanism design. The proposed social commerce architecture includes the layers of social networks, social engines, social applications, and social business models and involves multidisciplinary approaches. Then, several emerging research topics of social commerce in the contexts of marketing (such as social advertising, social production, social appraisal, and group recommendation) and finance (such as social insurance, P2P currency exchange, crowd-funding/investing, and P2P lending) will be raised and discussed. ![]() |
