1957 Commerce Group, Department of Commerce, College of Law, NTU. Beginning of this department.
 

1959 Business Administration Group, Department of Commerce, College of Law, NTU.
 

1960 Commerce Group, Department of Commerce, College of Law, NTU, changed into Business Administration Group, Department of Commerce, College of Law, NTU.
 

1972 Graduate Institute of Business Administration established.

1985 Business Administration was upgraded from a group to a department. Department of Business Administration was formally established.

1987 PhD program was established, includes five academic tracks: (1) Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management, (2) Strategic Management,(3) Marketing, (4) Operations & Decision Management, and (5) Technology & Innovation Management.

1992 Department of Business Administration was divided into Business Administration and Industrial Administration. The former is targeted to liberal arts students and the later is targeted to sciences students.

1998 Executive MBA program was founded in Graduate Institute of Business Administration.

2001 EMBA was remanded as EMBA under BA group, Colleague of management.

2007 Industrial Administration group was renamed Technology Management Group.

2013/2014 The Graduate School of Business Administration received Second Place in the Far East Asia, General Management section among the Best Business Departments listed by Eduniversal Ranking 2013/2014.
