大綱：

Shelf-scanning robotics, a product of IOT and AI, are emerging as new workforce in service contexts. In this talk I will present a prototypical example of how retailers can combine AIOT robotics and data analytics to solve salient business problems. Simulation experiments show that the proposed decision rules and Bayesian learning can be efficacious, efficient, and effective. Broad implications of my example on machine learning and business analytics will be discussed as well.
