Introduction
NTU Executive MBA Program
Established in 1997, the NTU EMBA is now divided into five divisions: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, International Business Management, and Information Management, as well as the Executive MBA Program for NTU – Fudan Joint Program. It is an integrated advanced management program that combines the top faculty from various departments of the NTU College of Management with inter-university exchanges and cooperation to provide rigorous training in cross-disciplinary courses and enhance the quality of decision-making. In the 28 years since its establishment, the NTU EMBA has fostered more than 5,000 outstanding talents, forming an online platform that brings together the elites of various industries. It has also become the favorite EMBA program of business managers.

NTU Executive MBA Program: Promoting Core Strategies and     Shaping Dialectical Thinking
The program focuses on knowledge transfer and impact, especially experiential learning and learner-centered “case study” model. It also includes international exchange programs, promotes curriculum optimization, and the creation of a wide range of special courses. The focus is on independent thinking and cross-disciplinary management expertise, allowing students from different industry backgrounds to broaden their horizons, insights, and fields of thought through discussions. In turn, enhance their comprehensive and analytical abilities in solving problems in business and management, allowing students to add humanities and health perspectives to their comprehensive business studies.
 
 
Program Structure

Students under the program are required to take 3 foundation courses, 13 core prerequisite courses, 1 concentration prerequisite course, and 4 elective courses.

  1. The foundation courses are offered from March to May of the year of enrollment, and the class placement is the same as the core prerequisite courses.
  2. The core prerequisite courses are offered during the first and second year of study, and classes are divided into Thursday classes (every Thursday from 14:20 to 20:40) and weekend classes (every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 17:20).
  3. Classes of the concentration prerequisite course are held on the weekend of the second year of enrollment (no Thursday classes).
  4. Elective courses are scheduled on weekends in principle, regardless of the year of study, and students can schedule their own classes.
Duration of Study

1-4 years, may be extended to 6 years depending on the situation.

Graduation Requirements
  • Complete 36 credits and write a master’s thesis.
  • Issued with the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the National Taiwan University upon graduation.

These courses cover the areas of innovation, industry competitiveness, organizational leadership, finance and accounting topics, and information technology. Target Students

Applicants who have graduated and received a bachelor’s degree from a domestic university or college accredited by the Ministry of Education, or from an overseas university or college recognized by the Ministry of Education; or those who fulfill relevant requirements of application for master’s programs specified in the Standards for Recognition of Equivalent Educational Levels for University Admission.

Eligibility
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifications) must have at least 10 years of work experience. Applicants with a master’s degree must have at least 8 years of work experience. Applicants with a doctoral degree must have at least 6 years of work experience and be able to submit a certificate of service.
  • Overseas Chinese students, students from Hong Kong and Macao, and international students who wish to apply for this program must follow the relevant regulations.

A total of 164 students will be enrolled under the 5 divisions, divided into the following according to the duration of the required core prerequisite courses:

Special Rules for Application
  1. Candidates are not allowed to apply for more than one division under this program at the same time. If duplicate applications are found, application eligibility for all divisions will be cancelled.
  2. Candidates may not request to change the division of application for any reason after submitting the application.
  3. Candidates are required to fill in the order of the classes of the core prerequisite courses when they apply, and both classes must be filled in. A change in the order of registration will not be allowed after application.
  4. Candidates will be admitted to the classes of the core prerequisite courses according to their overall score and the order of the classes they fill out.
Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees and Payment Schedule
  1. Students in this program are required to pay the full tuition and miscellaneous fee for the first six semesters of study, regardless of the number of credits they have taken (no additional credit fee is required). The full tuition and miscellaneous fee for the 2023 academic year is NT$193,200 per semester, and students should pay the full tuition and miscellaneous fee for at least 6 semesters before graduation.
  2. Starting from the seventh semester, the tuition and miscellaneous fee will be the “base tuition and miscellaneous fees” plus the “credit fee”. If you are writing the thesis only, you will only be charged the base tuition and miscellaneous fees. The fee schedule for the 2023 academic year is based on the official announcement of the University’s Executive Council. The current “base tuition and miscellaneous fees” is NT$12,720 per semester and the “credit fee” is NT$11,130 per credit.
  3. Payment should be made before the beginning of each semester.
Other Information
  1. This program is taught in Chinese. Students are required to be fluent in Chinese listening, speaking, and reading abilities (assignments and essays can be written in English).
