About “GEP”

Background

The global economy is constantly changing and unpredictable. Business management becomes more and more complicated, given the gradual paradigm shift in industries and the increasingly diversified business models caused by technology innovation. Existing formula for success no longer guarantees the same performance in future. One of the imminent tasks of business managers, therefore, is to steer organizational reformation.

The trend of globalization has posed innumerable risks and uncertainties to the macro environment as well as the regional business opportunities. It is therefore important for the entrepreneurs in this environment to be fully alert to and well prepared for the changes in the macro environment. To embrace the rapidly-changing global financial market and the digital technology revolution, they are required to leverage the opportunities for dynamic coopetition, integrate the global and local competitive advantages and increase the innovation momentum of the companies.

To meet these requirements, GEP is a course jointly developed by NTU and our elite partnered schools in 2012. It offers programs at the top tier business schools around the world and visits to the local elite enterprises. This is a top advanced management course that offers both depth, and breadth, a balance between time and cost.

GEP guides the leaders of the enterprise to connect with the development trend around the world, and to build cross-domain management mindset, with an aid of practical implementation of business theories. We utilize various case studies to help the students reflect and learn, and to train the leaders of the enterprises to enhance their abilities to think beyond the surface, dare to create innovation and to lead their enterprises to transform and grow, creating values hand in hand.
