 Program Overview

National Taiwan University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Spring Program is a two-week program offered by the College of Management which provides students with a unique and exciting opportunity to study and experience in Taiwan.  Students will obtain most recent business trend and explore innovation and entrepreneurship practices.  The program aims to help students turn theory into practice, ambition into purpose, and potential into achievement.

 

The program is led and taught by distinguished National Taiwan University faculty members who are internationally acclaimed experts for their research on current business issues and trends. In addition, we invite practitioners who are top pioneers and influential leaders in their fields to bring real-world experiences to the classroom.

Housing

Housing is provided for students at NTNU Hostel. All rooms include excellent lighting, study area, bathroom and shower, a closet, drawers, desks, chairs, single beds, air conditioning, 24-hour heated water, internet connection (cable is needed) and a landline telephone. We will book twin rooms for students who apply for housing. There is only one internet cable socket in each room.

Students can also opt out and choose their own housing plans. For safety purpose, students must inform NTU their address during the program.

* The application fee is non-refundable.

Refund Policy 

  1. The program fee is 90% refundable if the student cancels the program before the start of class.
  2. The program fee is 50% refundable if the student cancels the program before finishing 1/3 of the program.
  3. The program fee is not refundable if the student cancels after finishing more than 1/3 of the program.
  4. The program fee is fully refundable if NTU cancels the program.

* Please note our program is a package, including some optional activities. The fee for activities won't be refunded if you choose to be absent from these activities.

Who May Apply

International students currently studying at a domestic or international university and college graduates are eligible to apply. Incoming exchange/degree students at NTU are also welcome to apply. The courses are conducted in English. Students whose first language is not English should have at least an intermediate or above level of English proficiency.

How to Apply

l   Step 1

Submit an online application at http://eform.oia.ntu.edu.tw/SummerIn/outmenulogin.aspx The Application webpage will open on November 2, 2015.

Upload required documents

Account:e-mail address ; Password: Date of Birth ( YYYY MM DD )

- A passport-size photo in jpg file.

- Official transcript or proof of current/past college enrollment in English from your university.

 

l   Step 2

Check your application result and payment details upon email notification.

The result should be ready within seven working days.

 

l   Step 3

Transfer the total fees payable to Hua Nan Commercial Bank, NTU Branch within 5 working days.

Please e-mail the receipt to ArielleHsu@ntu.edu.tw for payment confirmation.

* The payments must include the bank wire fee about USD20 charged by Bank.
