NTU EMBA strives to achieve the goals of services and lifetime learning for its alumni members, and thus a variety of professional programs and seminars are constantly planned and organized exclusively for the alumni members. We hope services like these would help our members to pursue self-improvement and expand horizon of knowledge. We also plan to create a platform for exchange among members of different years and for mutual inspiration.

Recently NTU EMBA offered limited vacancy of our feature program, Fitness and Health Management, for our alumni members. The program was jointly offered by the NTU EMBA Office, NTU Hospital, and NTU Sports Center; it aimed to advocate habitual exercise among the students by giving personalized exercise advices and health objectives because we believe physical wellness is fundamental to successful career. In addition, we had organized a seminar jointly with the Harvard Business Review, a prestigious magazine dedicated to advanced management concepts and analysis on global management cases. The faculty of NTU College of Management were invited to give their insights on domestic and multi-national enterprises and offer comments on enterprise operation and strategic development. Meanwhile, we were honored to have Morris Chang, chairman of TSMC, to talk on “My Experience and Philosophy about Business Operation” on Oct. 17, where questions were allowed from the audience. Chairman Chang’s brilliant speech had greatly enlightened the audience and demonstrated his impressive friendliness and great sense of humor.

Other than indoors programs, EMBA Office has been organizing “Decade-Reunion on Campus” every year since 2013. We invite alumni members who have graduated 10 years or longer to return to our University and see for themselves about our growth and change for the last 10 years. This year (2015), we had upgraded the event with the “Gala Dinner of a Decade” at the NTU Sports Center, where about 500 alumni members from 1997 through 2002, senior administrators, and College of Management faculty were invited to share the cheerful, heart-warming, and meaningful hours. Among all other features, NTU EMBA has total 26 student clubs with a wide spectrum that covers athletic, literary, and intellectual natures; all alumni members are welcome to sign up.

The NTU College of Management pioneered in establishing the first EMBA program in Taiwan since 1997. As of today, more than 3000 professional managers have joined us, and next year (2016) we will be celebrating the EMBA’s 20th anniversary. We will continue to uphold our spirit of aggressive growth and offer even more diversified and delicate services for the alumni members and uniting the members. On Oct. 31, we had organized the second Mainland Alumni Members’ Reunion in Shanghai as to pull together all the potentiality on each side of the Taiwan Strait, so that NTU EMBA may grow across the Strait and expand inti the world as a big and strong family.
