Lecture on case study of “Enterprise Growth and Innovation Management Models in Greater China Market”

Dear fellow alumni members,

As to extent the goal of alumni lifetime learning, NTU EMBA Alumni Club/Alumni Foundation has jointly organized with NTU College of Management the “Alumni Lifetime Learning Seminars”. The kick-off seminar is a case study of “Enterprise Growth and Innovation Management Models in Greater China Market”, in which cases of Chinese enterprise operating in the Greater China Area are carefully selected to provide for you insights on Chinese enterprises’ new business models and the challenges and opportunities existing in the competitions in various trades, bringing you new ideas of value.

Starting from October for 4 months in a roll, we will organize a series of case study lectures delivered by Professor Tang Ming-zhe, Professor Xie Ming-jui, Professor Guo Rui-siang, and Professor Huang Chong-xing. The series’ schedule is:

Case study lecture 1: 10/15 – “Xiaomi Hurricane – Enterprise Competition Strategy in the Legend of Xiaomi by Professor Tang Ming-zhe. (This one has expired; please visit NTU EMBA Alumni Club’s website for more details.

Case study lecture 2: 11/26 – “Ctrip.com: Transformation of Retail Channel” by Professor Xie Ming-jui.

Case study lecture 3: 12.8 – “Taobao” by Professor Guo Rui-siang. (Now opens for reservation!)

Case study lecture 4: 1/14 – “Budget Airlines” by Professor Huang Chong-xing.

Fee: NT$1,000 for Foundation members and NT$2,000 for non-members. (Fee includes lecturer’s compensation, venue rental, handouts, and light refreshment). (Vacancy is limited; this seminar accepts only reservation by fund transfer. The Alumni Club will provide subsidy of NT$1,000 for members who complete the entire lecture as an incentive for the alumni to return to school and sharpen up.

This case study lecture series is applicable only to NTU EMBA alumni, “Global Enterprise Program” alumni, and “Chinese Enterprise Leaders Program” alumni. Each lecture requires separate reservation. The reservation opening now is for “Taobao” on 12/8. Vacancy is very limited (up to 60 pax); please make your reservation ASAP before it’s too late.
