Dear fellow students,

【Gratitude and responsibility】

First of all I’d like to express my appreciation to the encouragement and friendliness extended to me from senior students, allowing me to run for the presidential campaign. I’d like thank all of you who took time from busy schedule to vote. I know clearly, however, winning is the only the beginning of obligations.

【A happy, coincidental encounter】

Early spring last year I have had the lucky to join NTU EMBA; it is a great honor and a wonderful surprise for me. During the last year my student life has been filled with pressures for preparing homework and exams for each class. Student activities like O-camp, slow-pitch softball, golf, dining club, and movies, have also expanded my vision of life. Everyone seems to be fully loaded with schedule and racing against time. I have spent my first year; fruitfully and colorful.

【Learning and exchange】

Not until the second year am I able to understand my brilliant life in the first year is made possible only by the efforts contributed by the President and the staff of the Students Association. It is their efforts above and beyond the call of duty that all these exciting events have presented themselves to me almost as if granted. With supports from the representatives from Classes 102 and 103, Taipei, and 101 and 102, Fudan, and patronage from all of you, I have been voted to be the new President. It is lucky for me that I may learn from you during my tenure; let’s work together and build up bit by bit the wonderfulness in life.

【Heritage and innovation】

Learning and heritage; after a successful decade, the Students Association’s solid foundation established by the previous 10 presidents and staff shall be carried forward. Slow pitch softball, campus marathon, swim relay, Baichuan Seminar, dinning club, and movies, all will continue. The traditions will be upheld and strengthened. In the meantime we shall invite Classes of 101 and 102 to join the Students Association and carry on the multi-campus EMBA exchange program; therefore a Cross-strait Section will be established.

Honor is brewed with strength and memory is woven by participation. The 11^th team will do beyond its best in event administrations. More important is your enthusiastic participation, upon which wonderful memories, both yours and mine, rely.

 Finally, I’d like to express my appreciation in particular to CEO Ja-wei, Vice CEO Bo-wen, Secretariat Pei-ru, section chiefs Guan-li, Yu-lin, Wei-ming, Qin-tang,  Sin-yi, Guo-yong, Xiao-lien, Jien-tong, bin-how, Zhong-zhang, Yong-lung, Chuen-zheng, and all members of the committee; it is your extensive support and assistance that turn the first page of the 11^th Students Association. Word by word, chapter by chapter, we shall join force to compose a symphony belong to us, the NTU EMBA.
