NTU EMBA Golf Club for Early Champion in 4-U Autumn Cup
Oct. 2. More Victories of NTU EMBA Golf Club, Early Champion at Taoyuan
Established since 1998, the 18-year old NTU EMBA Golf Club is now the cross-year student club that has the most members among NTU EMBA student clubs. For the Golf Club, 2016 is the year of hardship and the year of harvest. With its recent victory of the third place in 10-Universities Games in Harbin, the Golf Club last week took on the 4-Universities Autumn Cup to play against the best plyers of the NCTU, Chengchi University, and NTUST, and claimed early chapion.
We routinely organize games on monthly basis for our members to sharpen up their skills, as well as games with EMBAs of other universities, such as the seasonal 4-U Games played among and alternatively organized by NTU, Chengchi University, NCTU, and NTUST. In addition, the Golf Club also pull together its best players in its NTU Champion team to play golf games abroad, bearing the name of NTU for the honor of our Alma Mater, and winning respects and friendship.
Our victorious 2016:
♦ Group Champion in 4-U Spring Cup organized by NTUST.
♦ Group second place in 4-U Spring Cup organized by NCTU.
♦ Group third place behind Peking Univ. and the host HIT in the Third International EMBA Golf Annual Games, where NTU EMBA Golf Club was the only invited among all universities in Taiwan.
♦ Group Champion in 4-U Spring Cup organized by Chengchi University, where our individual achievements were fruitful: Qiu Zhen-Xiang, Class 2008, third place in men net scores; Lin Xiu-Ru, Class 2014, total score champion; Zhang Jia-Ling, Fudan Class, net score champion; and Lu Chun-Xia, net score second place.
Finally, we especially thank Li Cun-Xiu, Qiu Xian-Bi, and Jian Kun-Zhong for their instruction, as well as the senior fellow students for their continuous funding and assistance. The new staff of our 18th year, consisting primarily of students of Class 2015 and headed by President Wang Yu-Fong and Managing President Li Yong-Song, shall continuously seek to promote our club’s administration and spirit.
Join Us in NTU Winter Cup
We are organizing the Winter Cup at Da-Xi Golf Course on December 12 (Sunday). It will be a brilliant game, and we hope our fellow students will join us in this game where NTU will be the home team. This is the final game in 2016.
Congratulations to NTU EMBA Golf Club for Group Champion in the 9th Annual National EMBA Golf Friendship Game!
Our team consisting of the faculty, alumni members, and students of the College of Management won group champion with 649 of gross in the 9th Annual National EMBA Golf Friendship Game in 2012 hosted by Chi Nan University.
