Nov. 25, 2014, a delegation from Beijing International MBA (BIMBA) headed by Dean Zhang Li, Associate Dean Guan Yu-zhen, and Professor Wu He-mao, along with their EMBA students visited NTU College of Management. Dean Guo Rui-xiang welcomed the delegation on behalf of the College of Management and gifts were exchanged. Other faculty members including Xie Ming-hui, Hu Xing-yang, Associate Dean Lin Chan-juan, and Director of Finance Department Zhang Sen-lin were also present; total 68 faculty and students from both sides of the Strait attended the reception.

The delegation arrived on time at College of Management’s Building 1 in the morning to attend the “New Paradigm for Cross-Strait Development and Cooperation” seminar hosted by Professor Wu He-mao at the 10th Floor, CC Hong Memorial Hall. The seminar went on in ardent spirit. Diversity among the student’s background inspired many ideas about cross-boundary cooperation. In particular, the Taiwan Experience attracted great concern and attention among the BIMBA members. Faculty and students from both sides had realized fruitful insights and concluded that this visit marks the starting points for a variety of potential cooperation projects for the future.

The delegation, accompanied by the students of NTU EMBA savored Taiwanese style lunch at the Lecture Hall while friendship further developed. In the afternoon they took a campus tour guided by the NTU Visitor Center to learn about NTU’s history, culture, and environment. In the guided tour the delegation acquired in-depth appreciation about NTU’s history and culture. This event aimed to facilitate mutual understanding between the EMBA students from both universities, and the NTU campus tour drew a perfect period to the delegation’s visit.
