In the wonderful October, full of sizzling hot sunshine, the iconic sport at NTU EMBA, softball, has had its 13th Friendly Match played at the Mei Ti baseball stadium from Oct. 22 through 23. All players were giving all they got, hoping to throw in all they have been practiced. Total 20 teams were in the Game. The E-Play team, formed especially to celebrate NTU EMBA 20th anniversary, had the faculty of the College of Management and EMBA Office staff onboard and play at the demo game. Each team competed for their glory with sportsmanship.

NTU EMBA Office organizes softball game every year as social opportunities for students of various years and thus solidify NTU EMBA’s teamwork. The cheering performance at the opening was performed by the new students of Class 2016. The performance was brilliant and it costed a great deal of efforts. It is another way to bond the relations across students of different years outside classroom.

Unlike other sports, NTU EMBA softball, where competition is intense, has its loving moments on the field every year. The players practiced hard together, comfort and cheer up each other to fight again next year when they lose. From the regular games to the major game in October, each of these moments are commonly cherished by all NTU EMBA members.
At the same time, we have added the idea of family carnival to the game, where senior students are invited to bring their friends and relatives to the game. Therefore, we have planned for many fun equipment for small and big kids to share a wonderful time together. In addition, we have also invited social welfare organizations to set up charity sales booths at the game, including the North Chapter of Taiwan Family Care Foundation, Yu-Ren Special Needs Center, and Taiwan Foundation of Rare Disorders. Family goods, delicious cookies, oily rice, salty snacks, and cool soft drinks are sold at these booths. NTU EMBA softball games extend and share love and strength.

It’s nice to have you; let’s meet again next year!
