July 25, 2015 was a great day with great weather for outing; members of NTU Finance Club gathered from all around for an outing. With careful arrangement by staff like Li-Zheng and Guo-Long, among others, members from the north, led by Chairperson Zhou Xiao-Ling and Vice CEO Zhang, Wen-Hou; and members from the central and the south, led by Vice Chairperson Xie Zhong-Geng, rendezvoused at Taichung for a wonderful tour of arts of Kusama Yayoi Exhibition at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, guided by one of our fellow students and the current staff of the Bureau of Tourism, Taichung City Government, Xie Xian. Mr. and Mrs. Keh Cheng-En, CEO Xie Ming-Hui, the former foundation chairperson, Chen Zhi-Quan, and President of the EMBA Students, Huang Jian-Wen, also joined us for the tour.

The Lion's Tour had prepared a very comfortable tour bus with VIP service and two attached staff members in the front of the Leader Hotel early at 7:15 to provide services for us. A handsome tour guide briefed about the tour and distributed souvenirs while our members savored the delicious and healthy breakfast; it felt very warm. Also, the fellow students' and their families' self-introductions quickly broke the ice and made the tour very sociable. This was the beginning of a wonderful day.

Upon arriving at Taichung, we were greeted by the sunshine of the central-south and the amazing formation greeting from the central-south Alumni members. The tour began with a trip to the Live Forever Construction Company, hosted by the Managing Director, Chen Guo-Qin himself, to learn about the company's positioning strategy of "practitioner of organic mansion". Thanks to the hospitality of Managing Director Chen and his staff, we were dazzled to see their great works and inspired by their visions.

After the gourmet lunch at the Fork Restaurant, thanks to the treat from the Vice Chairperson, Xie Zhong-Geng, we passed the greenish Park Lane to the Reading Bar and bought some books, and walked in grace to the National Taichung Theater and the Charlotte Park to see, and we were shocked to see, one of the nine wonders of the world's architectures: The National Theater, designed by a Japanese Architect, Toyo Ito. Our members were eager to capture the beautiful images of the vast Charlotte Park, in front of its trees of gymnorrhiza, sweet gum, and hayata.

The highlight of the tour is the Kusama Yayoi Exhibition at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in the afternoon. Our members immersed in the modern Japanese artist Kusama Yayoi's world of symbolic dots, and their imaginations were enriched and sense of arts nourished. This tour was beyond fruitful.

In the evening the Finance Club was honored to attend the hand-over ceremony of the central-south alumni association chairperson. Congratulations to the new Chairperson, Lin Kai-Chuan and best wishes to the future success of the central-south alumni association. After the day's tour and having returned to Taipei, we were reluctant to part. We could appreciate the Chairperson's and the staff's sincere arrangement for this day of sunshine, scenic views, and artistic ambience. We owed a great deal of debt of gratitude to all participating members of this day, and we would like to invite everybody to support the future activities organized by the Finance Club. The Finance Club's tour of arts in Taichung was extremely successful.
