NTU EMBA Golf Club's major annual event, the President Cup Tournament 2015, as well as the inauguration ceremony of the 17th term of the Club's new staff, took place at the Tung-Hua Golf Course on June 7 with 130 members and guests. The organizing staff had dreaded about the forecasted rain in northern Taiwan, and torrential rain did pour on the event in Taipei, resulting flood in certain areas. However, the Heavenly Almighty had spared NTU Golf Club on the event day and granted the members mild weather, with some sunshine, too, under which the golf game could go on and members could savor cold beer, a perfect ending for the 16th term of Golf Club staff.

With mild weather and solid condition of the golf course, the competition wen on tenaciously. Looking back on the year of the 16th term, we have been through 6 monthly games, 1 nonlocal game, 1 4-university home game, 3 4-university away games, 1 national tournament, 1 Cross-Strait game in China, and 1 President Cup. All of which had been organized diligently in consistence with NTU-standard heritage. The staff had sacrificed their time out of their already busy schedules and lost opportunities to spend weekends with their families. Every club event was hard-earned; we hope that we didn’t let the members of the Golf Club down, and that they would be proud to be members of our Club.

We have not 10 but 9 listed because we were not as good as 10-point good. As the visual backdrop of the President Cup says, the better is yet to come, the 17th term club staff will take over from now and more wonderful things are coming our way. Let us carry on with our good spirit. Please extend your support to the 17th term staff and let us work as a team. The better is yet to come.
