Dear fellow NTU EMBA students,

The 2014 NTU Campus Games has especially added an Alumni Section and all EMBA students are welcome to participate and sponsor.

I. Campus Games (Swim Contest)

1. Event Date:2014/10/18 (1pm, Sat.)

2. Registration period: 20149/23 (Tue.) thru 2pm, 2014/10/14 (Tue.) Late registration will be rejected.

3. Event location: Outdoor swimming pool, Main Campus, NTU.

4. Contest disciplines: Male Section and Female Section (50-m of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle; relay; fun contest), and Faculty Section

5. Registration method: Online registration only (no on-site registration)

6. Registration procedure: (1) Personal contest – online registration; (2) relay – each team is to assign a representative to complete online registration.

※ To correct error in registration information, if any, please do so before 12pm, 2014/10/17 (Fri.) at the Dept. of Athletics or call to correct error; no request to correct will be accepted after the said deadline.

 

II. Campus Games (Field/Track, Group, and Fun Contests)

1. Event Date:2014/11/22-23 (Sat. & Sun.)

2. Registration Period:2014/10/1 (Wed.) thru 5pm, 2014/11/6 (Thu.). Late registration will be rejected.

3. Event location:Athletic Field, Main Campus

4. Contest disciplines:

(1) Male Students Section: High jump, long jump, triple jump, javelin throw(0.8kg), discus(2kg), shot(16-pound), 100-m run, 200-m run, 400-m run, 800-m run, 1500-m run, 5000-m run, 400-m relay(4 runners)、1600-m relay(4 runners), 2400-m relay(12 runners), and tug of war(800kg).

(2) Female Students Section: High jump, long jump, javelin throw(0.6kg), discus(1kg), shot(8.8-pound), 100-m run, 200-m run, 400-m run, 800-m run, 1500-m run, 400-m relay(4 runners)、1600-m relay(4 runners), 2400-m relay(12 runners), and tug of war(700kg).

 

(3) Alumni and NTU Friends Section (graduates of our University and continuing education students):

•Male disciplines:100 –m run, 800–m run, 5000–m run, shot, and long jump.

• Female disciplines:60–m run, 800–m run, 5000 –m run, shot, and long jump.

 

•Mixed relay: 1200-m relay (12 runners with at least 4 female runners

 

5. Registration method: Online registration only (no on-site registration)

6. Registration procedure: (1) Personal contest – online registration; (2) relay – each team is to assign a representative to complete online registration.

9. Draw: The draw prior to tug of war event is scheduled at 12:30 pm, 2014/11/13 (Thu.), at Rm 247, General Stadium, Main Campus. (No further notice will be given; administrator will draw on behave of those who fail to appear).

10. Technical Meeting Date: 2014/11/20 (Thu.) 12:30pm at Rm 247, General Stadium, Main Campus.

Meeting agenda: announce matters regarding the Campus Games, issue number badges and print-outs, confirm registration information. No change is allowed afterward.

<Event sponsors>

    Sports sponsorship is a relation existing between resource providers and sports event organizers. Resource providers may enhance corporate image, increase product publicity, and strengthen awareness of brand name among target market.  Through sports sponsorship, Sports event organizer may save event expense, provide more depth to the event, and energize campus sports events. It is a win-win strategy. Introducing this collaboration shall bring about a new atmosphere to the University’s campus.
