Dear NTU EMBA members, The 10th Student Association is proud to present the One-hundred River Seminar series where experts and leaders of domestic or foreign origin will be invited to share with you their experiences not only in life, but also entrepreneurship, innovation, public affairs, health management, philosophy, arts, and music. The One hundred Rivers Seminar is inspired from the ocean that embraces all rivers with no reservation and aims to gather the best of the best to learn from their wisdom, achievements and enterprise legacy and culture, and become the platform for the top entrepreneurs in Taiwan to meet each other. In Round 1 of the One Hundred Rivers Seminar we have the master of aerial photographer, Mr. Qi Bo-lin, to share with us on November 11 his dilemma between ideas and reason that he has to struggle with during his pioneering work. Qi, Bo-lin, a 20-year veteran in aerial photography, sees aerial photography as his lifetime career. To produce the first aerial documentary film of Taiwan, Seeing Taiwan, he resigned from his comfortable job in public service that he has served for 23 years; 3 years shy from entitlement of pension fund. Aviation and photography prompt Qi to fall in love with the land, of which beautiful or ugly scenes are all captured through his lenses. This 90-minute documentary is not only his dream of a lifetime, but also the wake-up call for the unaware people. Have you ever really seen beautiful Taiwan? Have you ever tried to understand the wounds of Taiwan? If not, then it is probably you are not high enough. On November 11, Qi will take us to the height of clouds and see Taiwan from a brand new perspective and angle. First Round of One Hundred Rivers: Seeing Taiwan Speaker: Qi, Bo-lin Date: Monday, November 11, 2013 Time: 7 PM Location: B1, Sungreat International Convention Hall, Building 1, College of Management
