2013 NTU EMBA Student Union President Cup Swim Relay

Dear Alumni, Good Day,

Are you still defeated in missing a 3-footer for par that had you lost the Lungteng Award of the annual golf competition? Or a drench of rain that made your scuds no longer working and lost the School Relay Marathon? Hot about got too concentrated on looking at the enthusiastic cheer squad, instead of winning points in the preliminary softball tournament? So, do you want to take revenge? Do you want to fight for the greatest honor on behalf of your class? Here comes an opportunity for you!

Here comes the last station of the 4 major competitions of the NTU EMBA Student Union: The 1^st NTU EMBA Student Union President Cup of Swim Relay. Period: 3 AUG 2013; Time: 08:30~12:00; Location: Qingshan Campus of Kang Chiao Bilingual School in New Taipei City. The competition comprises team relay, family relay and fun swim. No matter you are a flood dragon, sea dragon, sea lion, seal, or even a seaweed or sea anemone, we welcome you to bring your family to join and have fun with us. This event will be held in Taiwan’s cleanest swimming pool of Kang Chiao Qingshan Campus. We would like to deliver our special thanks to the NTU alumnus Wan-ji Lee, who opened this swimming pool for all the EMBA alumni to enjoy a summer party. We also expect that everyone will have a happy and just competition with lots of fun. See you on 03 AUG.

	09：16	The competition starts and will be proceeded according to the schedule.

	11：00 - 12：00	Visiting the Company (Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group: Kang Chiao Bilingual School)

♦ Location: Qingshan Campus, Kang Chiao Bilingual School, New Taipei City (as shown in attachment: No.80, Dingcheng 5th St., Xindian Dist., New Taipei City)

♦ Competition Category (adjusted):

1.      Team Relay (adults only): Each team has 6 players and 2 reserve players, totally 8 members with any gender. Apart from students of the NTU-Fudan Joint Program and before Class 2010, every team has to be registered based on their year of class (that is, Class 2011, 2012 and 2013; no mixture is allowed). Alumni’s spouse and children can also join the competition. No modification is allowed after the registration.

2.      Family Relay: Each team has 4 players in 2 pairs, where each pair is formed by the EMBA students / teachers with their children. No reserve players are required.

3. Fun Swim (mixed-gender): Each team has 6 people formed by EMBA students and teachers in a mixed pattern. Alumni’s spouse and children can also join the competition and no limitation in gender. Each team must have at least 1 female player and more than half of the team members must wear bikinis (male or female).

 

♦ Competition Rules: In accordance with the rules, swimmers of each team have to swim 50 meters. The top five results of Team Replay and Family Relay as well as the top 3 of Fun Swim will be rewarded. A repeated cross-group registration is allowed.

 

♦ Registration: Online registration before 12:00 a.m., 21 JUL 2013 (Sun).

♦ Registration Qualifications:

1.      NTU EMBA students, who have completed registration for the academic year 2012, and academic staffs of NTU College of Management.

2.      Alumni, who can offer related certificate as a proof.

3.      Lineal relatives of NTU EMBA students and NTU College of Management academic staffs (those who can provide relevant proof).

♦ Registration Period: With immediate effect until 12a.m. of 21 JUL 2013 (Sun).

♦ Technical Meeting: At 19:00, 26 JUL 2013 (Friday); Room 201, 2F, College of Management, NTU (without notice). Kindly ask all the leaders attend this meeting on time.
