Time to Fly High: EMBA Class 2012 Graduation Ceremony

More than 200 graduating NTU EMBA students of Class 2012 from Taipei and Fudan classes, and their celebrating friends and families as well, gathered at the NTU Sports Center on Jun. 27, 2015 for their graduation ceremony, a very special day of a life-time. Group photos were taken, flowers were presented; warmth and joys filled in the air.

 

NTU Vice President Chen Liang-Ji addressed to the graduating students and wished them all the best. Dean Guo Ruei-xiang of College of Management and Dean Lu Xiong-Wen, of School of Business, Fudan University also encouraged the graduating students to maintain their persistence when dealing the dynamic environment in general. Guan Chung-Ming, an academician of Academia Sinica, as VIP at the ceremony, reminded the graduating EMBA students already taking management positions in businesses to develop a new future for the younger generations with more comprehensive ideas and diversified angles to fulfill their corporate responsibilities.

 

Among the 200 strong graduating students on this day, 60 were students of the NTU-Fudan Program (aka Fudan Class). The NTU-Fudan Program, started since 2010 5 years ago and of which the student recruitment for the 6th year had started officially, is the only linked degree-seeking program offered across the Strait and highly regarded and appreciated among businesses and academic circles. Students of Fudan Class come from different business disciplines and backgrounds; they are always able to mutually inspire endless possibilities through exchanging and sharing. They have access to the academic and connection resources of the two universities, and they are able to use these resources successfully in business development and personal growth.

 

At their time of enrollment, the graduating students of Class 2012 had written down their self-expectations and sealed in individual time capsules to be opened 3 years later at graduation ceremony during the O-Camp (orientation) organized by the EMBA Office. It was due time to open them. Xie Ming-hui, CEO, NTU EMBA, along with the representatives of the Taipei and Fudan Classes, handed back these precious time capsules to the graduating students, who all smiled in confidence when receiving. After 3 years of efforts, they all have changed and achieved remarkably.
